Crazy Sunday

It's another Crazy Sunday! Sorry I was not able to post last week. I had been very busy with my son's birthday. He just turned three and he is beginning to act like one. He has become very demanding and he likes to do everything on his on.

Anyway, this week's inspiration and great finds are pictures of bedrooms. Lately, I have been dreaming of building our own home. Our goal is that we would have one within the next 5 years. This is the reason why I have been surfing for house and room designs and layouts. Not that we are already going to build our house but it is a way for me to keep my goals in sight. So without further a do...
I love the bright and sunny colors of this room. It make me want to scrap summer photos.
Here I like the bright colors and circles on the sheets.

The tea lanterns are wonderful reminds me of the new papers by Webster's pages.
The black and white colors reminds me of my plan to scrap using black and white only.

This wall shelf reminds me of my Mother -in-law's bird house collection. This will be a great ideas for those collections. LOL.

Ike's 3rd Birthday

Ike turned 3 last Wednesday, August 18, 2010. We celebrated his birthday in school. It was a simple celebration were in I just ordered cupcakes from Little Angel cakes for his classmates and gave away pinwheels to take home. The cake was so amazing. It was inspired by the invitations that I made. During the celebration Ike was a bit possessive of me and his dad. He got jealous when his classmates would come near us. I treated the kids to a fun day of bubble chasing too. I also told them a story about Blue's birthday.

After the school party we went directly to my Ate Mhile's house in LA village. I invited Ike's friends there and also his cousins. Ike enjoyed his party so much that he fell asleep during the mini celebration in LA village.

Crazy Sunday

Hello everybody so it is another wonderful Sunday! I am here at home just enjoying the weekend. I am just borrowing time while waiting for Dear Hubby to come home from work and while Ike is enjoying the bubble bath. Although this week had been a little bit sad, I still try to think and focus on the positive side. With all the things happening right now I didn't have much time to surf the net. But I would not past up Crazy Sunday.

Today I would like to introduce to you Christine Middlecamp. She is the "Queen of Details". She is the person behind the Retrospection Blog. I've been stocking her blog for the past months. I love how she creates details on all her layouts and projects. She has become my source of ideas and techniques on how to use and combine embellishments and how to layer them. For that thank you so much Christine!
Here is a layout of hers that had taught me something...
This layout has taught me to use negatives of my chipboard elements...
Now here is a project that I love so much!
I'm still gathering the guts to do a project similar to this. Maybe I can create it in tags or ATC's instead of mini doileys.

Thanks for reading!

Sugar Rush

It is a busy week for me. I don't have much time to spend surfing the net so I would just like to share with you a layout I made months ago. I used the Sugar Rush line of Basic Grey here. I love the colors of this line so much that I created several layouts using this line.

Here is another layout inspired by a sketch from Creative Scrappers.Again Sugar Rush was used here.

Don't you just love the colors?
Thanks for visiting.

Crazy Sunday

So it is another day of Crazy Sunday. This time I found a set of shirt and skirt for little girls. How I wish I have a daughter who I can make this for. I have a little prince so it is little bit less creative to dress him. Usually a pair of shorts, jeans and shirt will do.

Anyway here are the cute colorful skirts that I found.

I found this over at Heather Bailey's blog.
Hope this photo has inspired you!
Thanks!
