WHO SAID THAT BEING A STAY AT HOME MOM IS EASY???

When I get time alone, i really miss the old and simple days. But then again parenthood has changed me in so many ways. Changes i will never ever regret. lessons in life came, and it made me take life a little bit more seriously.

Love your mothers, cause what they do is more than any human ability. They sacrifice everything for you. They'd fight anybody if they see that what they're doing is for your own good. They'd cry every night coz they're hurt but can't voice it out. Then when you look at them, they'd smile, coz everything in the world is right as long as they have you. Its true what they say... You'll never understand parenthood until you have children of your own.

This was a message sent to me by my niece last Mother's day. And I do agree with her 100%. Being a mom is not an easy task. Belated Happy Mother's Day to All!

Instagram and Photo Apps

Last January I was introduced to the world of Iphone photo editing apps. Since then I got soooo hooked that it almost took all of my spare time playing with it. In fact i barely use it as a phone. I is more of a photo editing tool for me. LOL. I have found a new outlet for my creative juices.

Working on New layouts...

Last week I was able to make a couple of layouts after more than a month of  being unproductive. Here are the photos of my my layouts in progress:

I was able to finish two of those layouts but the last layout was finished just yesterday! Talk about getting distracted. I will post the details once I am able to take photos of the layouts. :)

Thanks for looking!

First post for the year!

Hi peeps! This is my very first blog post since the last day of last year. I never thought the being a stay at home mom can be very busy. Every time I sit down a create a new post I would always get distracted by the kids or some household chores.

Well anyway here are some layouts that I did for the past 3 months:

I love the simplicity of this layout.
Here I used my Studio Calico kit that I won from Scrap-it-Lah

Here I used my fave Prima Stamp and some old BG Christmas Papers.

Here is another Christmas layout.

Well that is all. I hope to be able to find more time to post and cretae more scrapbook layouts.

Last Day of the Year

It is the last day of the year. Looking back...this year has been full of wonderful blessings. My son Ike, started preschool in a big school,

Gee started in a new account and I began to teach grade school and of course the most important blessing of all is receiving our new angel Tatianna.

Thank you so much Lord for the blessings and I pray that in the coming year our blessings will be doubled.

So while waiting for the new year I send the day taking care of the kids and finishing my last layout for the year. It is a Christmas layout done for the last and final challenge over at Scrap-it-Lah. Their challenge is:

Let the Countdown Begin...

Our little Tatianna turned 1 month last December 2, 2011, I made her a cute little headband using lace and prima flower. Here is a photo taken last December 2:

Lately Ike has been obsessed with countdowns. First he started crossing out the dates towards our birthdays now he is starting to cross out the dates towards Christmas. I guess it has come to a point where he already understands the mechanics of using a calendar and also what Christmas is all about. So I decided to create for him a Christmas Tag countdown. Here are the first 4 days of the countdown:
 December 1

December 2

December 3

December 4

Since my maternity leave I was able to create some new layouts...
I made this layout using Studio Calico kits.
