Playing with mix media

Yesterday was a very productive day for me. I was able to create 5 layouts! I decided to skip baking and do scrapbooking. I needed to finish some of my Sketchabilities DT work and then after that I did some research on how to use mix media. I found several tutorial videos on net and found art journal very interesting. I love how they play with techniques and how free it is. I love the fact that anything goes and that there is no mistakes. No pressure but only techniques and surprises. My paints have been accumulating dust in the storage. So I decided to bring them out and play with it! Here is the result:

I love the how it turned out. I just sprayed and splattered paint on it. In fact Ike had a little hand on creating this page...he accidentally placed my Samsung cellphone manual on top of the wet paint. But did you notice it? Lol good thing anything goes. LOL ;) Unfortunately I cannot post my other layout as I did it for my DT work but here is a sneak of it:
Watch out for the full page on Sketchabilities this February.

Here is another layout I made but this time I played with mist and some stamping. I love to spray mist on the paper and let it drip. I also used some of my left over Webster's paper from our Iris's kit.

I used the title LOVE YOU FOREVER because that is Ike's favorite story book by Robert Munch. He loves the way I sing to him the song of the mother in the book. That book is very touching. In fact, it got me teary eyed the first time I read it. I bought the book for Ike on his first birthday. It is my symbol of love for him. I want him to be reminded that he will forever be my baby.

Thanks for reading!
